THE DIVINE MOTHER
Dear Mama, We see you, we see the love you pour into your family everyday, we see you, we see the early mornings and the late nights, making sure everyone in the family has their needs met as best you can, we see you, we see the laundry piles and piles of dishes that never end, why don't they ever end? we see you, we see that you have a desire to express yourself, to have a small outlet, to have some connection time with adults, to get out of the house for a little bit (and not feel guilty about it) and finish a full sentence, we see you, we see the divine beautiful mother and woman that you are. we see the love in your heart. we see the tiredness and yet we know you would not have it any other way. we see that it's ok to be in love with motherhood AND it's ok to complain about it sometimes. we see you as a whole person, multi-demential, multi-layered, and oh so human. xoxo, Crystal
